Diane Neumann, M.A., J.D.
DIANE NEUMANN, J.D., M.A is the principal of Diane Neumann & Associates, Divorce Mediation Services. She began her mediation practice in 1981. She is recognized as one of the foremost mediators in the country. Diane is the author of two highly acclaimed books: Divorce Mediation: How to Cut the Cost and Stress of Divorce and Choosing a Divorce Mediator, published by Henry Holt & Co. In addition to her practice, she has been training mediators since the mid 1980s.
Diane’s areas of expertise are two-fold: complex financial and tax matters, and difficult custody and parenting issues. Her experience extends to inheritances and trusts; to businesses; sole-proprietorships, sub chapters S Corp, C Corp, P.C., other legal entities, alimony issues, as well as more complicated financial and tax areas.
Diane is a Past President of the national Academy of Family Mediators as well as a Past President of the Massachusetts Counsel on Family Mediation. She holds a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Arts in Counseling, and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker. Her experience as a licensed Massachusetts attorney, a couples and family counselor, a real estate broker, and an Internal Revenue Service Representative make her uniquely suited to help clients reach the best possible settlement for each.
